This is a good reason to improve your credit, and have a prepaid card. One that reports to the credit bureaus.
There is no reason why anyone should take out a credit card like this. Credit cards are not a necessity of life. This bank should be shut down.

If you are responsible and pay your bills on time as the narrator says, you would have a good credit history to start with. You wouldn’t need a credit card like this.

Those mentioning not using credit cards at all unless absolutely necessary are wise. I would love to see a consumer revolution started where credit cards are avoided like a Nigerian Scam. I LOVE receiving credit card offers. I stuff them so full of junk mail that the postage is well over the price of an ordinary letter. Of course the greedy companies then have to foot the postage bill. I did this for about 6 months and then miraculously not only did a specific card company stop they all did.

Seems like textbook language extolling the recklessness of the boom. After all, having bad credit means that having a credit card probably isn’t the best idea.

After preparing their business model, Continental Finance started out with the name “Come Fuck Me in the Ass”. But the management thought it might be too obvious and scare off potential customers. So they changed it from the “Come Fuck Me in the Ass” card to the “Continental Finance” card. But they kept all the features the same, and your ass will be fucked by getting this card – guaranteed.

Worst bank – that would be CitiBank aka ShittyBank. Had a 6. 9% interest card – paid it off every month – got a few $’s charged to interest so they were making money but not a lot. Have a credit score of 830 and ShittyBank decided to raise my rate to 29. 99% – yep you got it 29. 99% for NO FUCKING REASON. Other than of course they can’t run their company profitably and want to screw those of us who can run our finances well.

This is nothing – In the UK there is a company called Provident and believe me, it is better to do without than to borrow of these bloodsuckers. A loan of £300 from provident and you will have to pay back £520 within a year! Sharks man, sharks and they get away with it as a registered company.

@thecanadianstoner1 I got my credit card years ago. I actually have a few. shop around. you can get a good card that suits you. make sure you pay all your bills(utilities and rent) cause the credit card companies look to see if you are good at paying for things. My son, who just turned 18 got him self one as much as I hated the fact that he got one he did. to build up his credit rating he buy things with his card comes home and pays it.
