I read the book ‘War is racket’ in my youth and now I see the full scope of what this man spoke of so many decades ago, the M. I. C. is no joke and they really call the shots from behind the scenes. I mean it;s a sad day when the Sec. of Defense gets his speaking points from the CEO’s of the M. I. C. and beat the same war drums as them.

$ 4 Trillion cut in spending = $ 400 billion cut every year for 10 yrs.
2011 budget deficit = $ 1. 5 Trillion. ( just for this year)
So, if super committee come up with $ 4 T cut, we will be running $ 1. 1 Trillion budget deficit every year , instead of running $ 1. 5 Trillion ?

The Cold War ended, and we emerged as the only superpower remaining in the world. The military industrial complex we created in WWII empowers our government extraordinarily, and they don’t want to give up that power. They need to have an enemy in order to justify maintaining the world’s strongest military, so they staged an attack upon our country and blamed it on “Islamic terrorists. ” War on terror will never end, because they will launch more attacks as needed.
If you wanted to unleash the power of our economy, you would not print off over $16 trillion and give it to banks and corps. Now you want to talk about a piss ante $14 trillion national debt? Just print off some more money to pay off the national debt. While you’re at it, print off an extra $16 trillion and circulate it to the citizens equally. That will put over $50,000 in the pockets of every man woman and child in this country. People spending money makes the market work.
